The goal is not just empty talk; it materializes in our everyday work. The Bocuse d’Or Team Finland´s goal of training in the Haaga-Helia training kitchen is to reach the podium. Participation in the competition is our way of showing the world that we have top expertise in Finland and world-class gastronomy.

What if Finland rose to the top in food culture worldwide? Let’s imagine a moment when tourists would come to our country inspired by this achievement. Are we ready to seize this opportunity? Do we offer them passionate service, authentic taste experiences, and accommodation that meets the highest standards? These questions are not just rhetorical; they force us into critical self-assessment.

Now is the time to move from contemplation to concrete action. The future of the tourism and restaurant industries is built not only on grand vision but on small, systematic steps. Bocuse d’Or Team Finland is an excellent example of this long-term work that takes us towards the goal of Finland’s first podium placement. Our ability to look beyond the podium shows that we have the desire to build success, which is not only the team’s but the entire country’s victory.

Now is the time to show that Finland is ready to shine on plates and offer experiences that will stay in people’s minds around the world. Finland needs this!
